Xpedite Adds New Features To Its Interactive Transactional Voice Platform
voiceREACH Provides Text-To-Speech and Survey Capabilities for Improved Customer Communications

Tinton Falls, NJ, January 16, 2003 - Xpedite (www.xpedite.com), a company that helps businesses manage information distribution to and from their customers through multimedia messaging solutions, including fax, e-mail, voice and wireless services, and a business unit of Ptek Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTEK), today announced the latest upgrades to its interactive voice messaging service, voiceREACHSM. The latest version of voiceREACH offers many innovative features that provide businesses with new ways to increase their response rates when communicating with their customers.

New voiceREACH enhancements include: · Text-to-speech capabilities that enable text-based information, such as names on a mailing list, to be converted to speech and inserted into a transactional voice message customized to the individual recipient; · Advanced data collection features that allow businesses to survey large numbers of existing customers with person-to-person voice communications and capture their responses through a touch-tone phone. Response data is then organized and sorted by Xpedite for download by the customer at anytime. Xpedite also provides scripting, personalization and voice talent to help customers achieve maximum return on their investment from their voice communications; · Dual document support, which enables users to record two different messages, which will be used based upon how the call is answered - live or an answering device; and · Increased sound quality for messages recorded through a .WAV file.

"We are taking our successful fifteen-year track record in the messaging sector to lead the industry with innovative services, and we're pleased to see our customers achieving record response rates with these new interactive voice messaging features," said Rob Mainor, President of Xpedite. "What sets us apart is Xpedite's ability to offer a combination of messaging services, including e-mail, voice, fax and wireless, to reach recipients, which offers an even greater opportunity to increase responses. This breadth of services is a real value-add for our customers, who are using our services for any and all action-oriented communications, ranging from bill collection and subscription renewals to event reminders and fundraising."

Users can access the voiceREACH service via touch-tone phone, a Web interface or file transfer protocol (FTP), and can record messages over a touch-tone phone or by using a PC microphone to create a .WAV file. Customized scripts are available for seamless integration of messages. An audit trail of all calls is provided upon completion of a broadcast, and is available for monitoring online, even while calls are still in progress.
